National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the most prestigious and most competitive academic institution for technical education in Greece. The Decision Support Systems Laboratory (DSSLab) is a multidisciplinary scientific unit within the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, which conducts research and development, scientific / technical support and training activities addressing a wide range of complex research and application problems. Operating for more than 25 years, the lab has acquired international experience in the following sectors: Information Technology and Decision Support Systems with a specialisation in e-Business and e-Government, Data Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation, Training and Human Resources Development, Interoperability, Management Information Systems, Program & Project Management, Information Dissemination and Promotion, Energy and Environmental Policy.

As part of the EnergyShield consortium, apart from participating in all aspects of the initiative, NTUA is responsible for the design, development and implementation of the Security Behaviour Analysis Tool (SBA) as well as the forensic tool, part of the SIEM solution of the EnergyShield toolkit. Additionally, NTUA is responsible for the EU Collaboration task of the project, promoting cross-fertilization activities developed with ongoing EU research and new Horizon 2020 projects focusing on similar challenges with the EnergyShield project and in particular under the BRIDGE initiative.
